Challenge

The Citroen dealership, located in the Miller Bajo Industrial Park, has high electricity consumption, which is expected to increase considerably after the installation of chargers for charging electric vehicles, which are progressively replacing traditional combustion vehicles. In addition, the cost per kWh on their bill has doubled, which has greatly increased their energy costs.

What Alfa 90 did

Alfa 90 proposes a 100 kW self-consumption photovoltaic installation to reduce its energy costs. Since this is a building with a unique architecture, it does not have a useful roof to be able to carry out the installation. It is therefore proposed to use part of the roof of the Hyundai dealership building, located less than 500 meters away and with whom it shares a transformer station, to build the photovoltaic installation on its roof and through the distribution network to be able to self-consume in the Citroen dealership, according to RD 244/2019, previously requesting a connection point in Edistribución.
